The problem is not merely summarization. Different readers need to know different things: what changed, what applies to them, what creates risk and what action is required.
PolicyPilot is an exploration of how AI can become a practical interface between dense documents and human decision-making. A user can provide policy text and move from raw language toward clearer summaries, obligations, risks and follow-up questions.
The prototype is intentionally focused on comprehension rather than replacing expert judgment. Its purpose is to reduce the friction between reading a document and understanding what deserves attention.
